Apex Legends: season 1 of the mobile port unveils unique contents

Respawn Entertainment has released a wide variety of new features in “Apex Legends”. While the PC and console versions are currently hosting Season 13, the mobile port is thriving with its season 1 which came out on June 14. Since its launch, the iOS and Android title has been downloaded by more than 23 million gamers.

The first major update of “Apex Legends Mobile” is called “Cold Snap”. It allows players to experience the new “Climatizer Town Takeover” on the “World’s Edge” map. Furthermore, the creators have added a unique “frosty grenade” and a Battle Pass. Moreover, fan-favourite character, Loba, the Translocating Thief, is making an appearance. Still, Respawn Entertainment has not simply ported the heroine into the mobile game. Instead, gamers will have access to legend progression perks for her that will alter her gameplay.

The persona is available at level 25 of the Season 1 Battle Pass. She can be bought directly via the in-game shop too. The arrival of Loba is great for fans of “Apex Legends Mobile”. Indeed, when it came out, there were only 10 playable heroes. Thus, her addition should bring more variety to the Meta. Furthermore, it might indicate the developers’ intention of introducing more classic characters to the iOS and Android port.

Pokémon GO: changes will be added to the game’s Mega Evolution system

In 2016, Niantic introduced “Pokémon GO”. Since then, the mobile franchise has evolved a lot, allowing players to engage in unique contents such as special events and Community Days. In its attempt to consistently update the Meta of the video game, the developers have announced that some changes will be introduced to the Mega Evolution mechanic.

This feature was originally revealed in “Pokémon X and Y” in 2013 and made its arrival in “Pokémon GO” in 2020. It enables gamers to access the upgraded evolutionary forms of some of the most popular monsters of the franchise. Since it has been two years since its introduction in the mobile title, Niantic has decided to improve the system. For instance, players who intend to take part in Mega Raids will find it easier to complete the quest.

Furthermore, gamers will have the ability to choose to Mega Evolve their Pokémon at the beginning of a fight. Mega Levels will also be added to the mobile game. They will act as a progression system for a creature and provide them with increased bonuses such as Stardust and XP. Overall, these upgrades sound great for the future of “Pokémon GO”. For those interested, the gaming instalment is available on iOS and Android devices.

Pokémon GO: more details were revealed about the 2022 Fest event

Despite the fact that the gaming world has been quite impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic, Niantic, the developing studio of “Pokémon GO”, has been able to keep its fan base strong thanks to new gameplay mechanics and challenges. Even if the creators of the mobile game have found ways to entertain players during lockdown, one aspect of the franchise took a major hit. It is the annual GO Fest.

This event was originally designed as an opportunity for gamers to meet in real life and engage in different missions together, such as raids and special research tasks. Even if a portion of the happening has been moved to an online format since 2020, Niantic remained vague concerning the return of the in-person event.

After a long wait, however, the studio has officially revealed that Pokémon GO Fest is coming back in June. There will also be special in-person happenings in Germany, the United States, and Japan. Finally, the creators of the mobile game will hold a bonus finale event on August 27. At this point in time, few details were revealed about it. Aside from this contest, Niantic is working on a lot of other contents, including a unique Community Day involving Stufful and the ongoing Season of Alola. Pokémon GO: the Lush Jungle event has introduced new monsters

Since the beginning of this year, Niantic has introduced a series of fun happenings in “Pokémon GO”, including special quests, Community Days and the Johto Tour. Now, fans of the mobile video game will have access to a unique event called Lush Jungle. It will enable players to try and capture different Bug- and Grass-type creatures.

According to Niantic, two exclusive monsters will be released during the happening, namely Tapu Lele, Lurantis and Fomantis. Unfortunately, none of the Shiny variants of these creatures will be available in this event. For those interested, Tapu Lele will be featured in Five-Star Raid Battles while the other two will be found in the wild.

Furthermore, the developers of the mobile game have a surprise for fans of Charizard. The starter Pokémon from the Kanto region will appear in Mega Raids during the Lush Jungle event. Moreover, the chances of encountering its Shiny variant have been increased. As such, this can be an interesting challenge for those who want to improve their collection of rare creatures.

Aside from these exclusive monsters, the happening also starts the second part of the Season of Alola Special Research story. Thus, fans will have accessed to a limited-time quest which can reward them with special prizes. For those interested, “Pokémon GO” is available on Android and iOS devices.
